Finally Toyota released official images of the 2013 RAV-4

Two days after some low quality images starting floating on the internet (Here and Here), Toyota finally released high quality images showing the new crossover in all his glory.

Even if it is a big improvement over the current model, and it does look more modern, it still isn't on par with his competition. Also, like we reported earlier, the optional V6 engine and the old four speed transmission will be gone from the new model. They will be replaced by a new four cylinder engine and a new six speed gearbox.

On the interior there seems to be more room for passengers and luggage together with better materials and the use of leather.

First pictures of the 2013 Porsche 981 Cayman

14 hours ago you saw here the first image of the Cayman, courtesy of the Flat6 Magazine, but today Porsche has finally released the first official images of the new small Porsche.

It will be available in two trims, the Cayman 2.7 with 275hp and the Cayman S 3.4 developing 325hp. Even if it has a different name, the Cayman is basically the hardtop version of the Boxter with a slightly different bumper and boot lid.

2013 Fiat 500L Trekking

Together with the North American version of the 500L, Fiat will also show the new 500L Trekking in the Los Angeles Motor Show that starts today. The most obvious change between the European and N.A. version are the new headlights.

Comparing with the "normal" model, the 500L Trekking gains protections around the body made in plastic and painted in black, a redesigned front bumper and rear bumper with some minor changes, and a higher ground clearance.

There will be only one engine available for the American market, which is the 1.4liter MultiAir with 160hp connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. On the inside we will be able to find the UConnect system with a 6.5 inch touchscreen.

Jaguar officially presented the XFR-S. Looks amazing!

Jaguar finally unveiled the new XFR-S. It is the most powerful and the most radical looking version of the XF that will premiere later today (In Portugal it is already November 28) in the Los Angeles Motor Show.

The engine is a 5.0liter supercharged V8 delivering 550hp and 680Nm, which is 40hp and 55Nm higher than the XFR. It does 0 to 100km/h (0 to 62mph) in just 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 300km/h (186mph). The new aerodynamic package, including a new front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser and a huge rear wing allow for a 70 percent increase in downforce. The XFR-S will also have some especially designed wheels.

Price isn't known yet and only 200 will be sold in the USA, for the rest of the world that number is unknown.

First official picture of the new Porsche Cayman 981

After so many pictures of the almost uncovered Cayman, the French magazine Flat6 will present its readers with the first pictures of the new Porsche.

In the cover of the December edition, that we have now acess to, we can see how the front will look like, plus information about the power figures of Cayman 2.7 and Cayman S 3.4, which are 275ps and 325ps, respectively.

Ford Fiesta ST in the USA couldn't be more different of the European version

Even if they have the same name, the North American version of the Fiesta ST will only be available as a five-door version while in Europe it is only available with 3 doors. If that wasn't enough the European model has 180ps (178bhp) and 240Nm (177 lb-ft) in comparison with the 200ps (197bhp) and 290Nm (214lb/ft) or the North American market.

The engine is the same for each side of the pond, a 1.6liter turbocharged Ecoboost with different outputs connected to a six-speed manual gearbox providing the driver a fuel consumption of 6,9liters every 100km (39mpg).

The ST is 15mm lower than the standard Fiesta working together with an electronic Torque Vectoring Control, an improved braking system and quicker steering ratio of 13,6:1.

The look has to be easily recognized so Ford added a different honeycomb front grille and bumpers, side skirts, 17inch wheels, roof spoiler and rear diffuser. The interior is also unique with leather Recaro sport seats, a new steering wheel and unique trims.

Ford will publicly display the new ST for the USA in the upcoming LA Motor Show.

The weight will be approximately 1100kg for the 1.2liter engine. Power will come from several diesel and petrol engines, some might come from BMW, with power ranging between 95ps up to 200ps.
