The darker side of Rolls-Royce. The Wraith. [Video]

We already saw an image teasing the presentation of the Rolls-Royce Wraith that will take place at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5th, but now the company from the United Kingdom showed a video promoting the new coupe and the darker side of the company.

They even added that the car has "the power, style and drama to make the world stand still". That is a bold statement that we will have to see for ourselves next March. See the video below and tell us what you think about this 6.75liter monster.

Rolls-Royce Wraith - New teaser and details

This is the image that best shows the appearance of the car until today. In it we can see the sweeping roofline of the most powerful Rolls-Royce yet that will be presented on March 5 at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Sales are expected to begin later this year for the new coupe that will probably have the same 6.75liter V12 engine used in the Phantom but with around 600hp.

Leaked pictures and fourth teaser of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 [Video]

A few months ago Chevrolet started teasing the next generation Corvette, the C7, with some teasers named, Conception, Calibration and Craft, but now with only two days left to the official presentation, North American automaker shows us the last one, Creation.

In this new video we get to see how the C7 will be built, focusing the assembly in the assembly of the platform. Funny how all the teasers start with the letter "C".

Anyway the presentation will take in a special event at the Detroit Auto Show this Sunday, January 13, at 18:45 EST, 15:45 PST, 23:45 GMT/UTC, while the countries in a time zone east of Portugal and England will see the presentation happen Monday, January 14, at 00:45 CET, 08:45 JST.

Besides that jalopnik obtained a picture of the front of the car, from the Road&Track magazine, and the corvetteforum another of the rear.

Short News: Renault's future crossover, Captur, will be presented this Friday morning [Teaser]

Renault said today that they would show the brands new crossover this Friday morning, which is codenamed the Project J87, but we already know the production version uses the name Captur.

For now we only know it will use the same platform used by the Nissan Juke but is closer to the Clio in an aesthetic level. Will have 4.2 meters long and will be available with two-wheel drive only. It will use the 0.9TCe with 90hp and 1.2 TCe with 115cv, both petrol engines and the diesel 1.5 dCi with 90 and 105hp, and the 1.6 dCi producing 130hp.

Lexus teases us the 2014 IS

According to LexusEnthusiast, there was a video in the North American website of the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota that previewed what the 2014 IS will look like. Could not find it, but here you have some picture of the most important details.
 
The reveal will take place at the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday, January 15th at 9:30am, and will broadcasted live from the Lexus website. Oh, and yes, it looks like the Nike logo.

Toyota teases us a new model, codenamed Furia. What will this be? [Video]

 

With the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) coming up, all car manufacturers are starting to tease what new models they are going to reveal in Detroit, next month.

 

Toyota is not an exception, teasing us what i think it will be the new Corolla sedan, named Furia. For now this is only what i have, but stay tuned for more information, and in particular to the NAIAS coverage!

Short News: Qoros teases their future SUV

 

A few weeks ago Qoros showed us some teasers of their new flagship sedan, and now it is time to reveal a little more about their upcoming SUV.

 

It will use the same platform of the sedan, but the engine won't be the same. The sedan will use a 1.6liter, and the SUV will use a 1.8 or a 2.0liter engine. Sales are scheduled to start in 2013, while the official reveal might happen in March, at the Geneva Motor Show.

Short News: First teaser of the Cadillac ELR [Video]

The ELR, based on the Converj concept shown in 2011, wants to be a more luxurious 2 door version of the the Chevrolet Volt/Opel Ampera. It will also use the same propulsion system, the Voltec range-extender.

 

Don't forgot that the Volt/Ampera are both front wheel drive with a 150hp (110kW) electric motor, and a range of 80km (50 miles). An 86hp (63kW) 1.4liter petrol engine is used to charge the batteries and help move the car. Both cars complete the 0 to 100km/h (62mph) run in 8,7 seconds and have a top speed of almost 160km/h (99mph).

 

It will debut at the NAIAS in Detriot, January 2013.

Short News: Honda Urban SUV Concept in Detroit 2013

Honda released today one teaser of the compact "Urban SUV Concept" that will debut in the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit next month.

At this moment we have no official information, but we believe this will be based on the next Jazz / Fit to be launched in 2013.

The Urban SUV Concept, teased in a sketch released today, is a global concept model combining a sporty and dynamic SUV profile with a spacious, functional interior.

Rotary Supercars wants to smash the Bugatti Veyron [Teaser]

The Germans at Rotary Supercars vowed to raze Bugatti and the Veyron with their new hypercar that, for now, still doesn't have a name.

The image you see above is the first teaser of that car, it uses a rotary or Wankel engine with over 2.800hp and almost 3.500Nm (2581lb/ft) of torque. The top speed will be well over 450km/h (280mph) and it will do 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in under a second (right..), but a question remains, will it ever be produced? Many have claimed they would dethrone the Veyron and almost all were no more than promises. We will see, but those are some crazy numbers.

2013 Skoda Octavia - Another teaser and a render

There isn't much more i can say about the new Skoda Octavia. We already saw clear pictures of the sedan and the station wagon in Chile, and now Skoda released another teaser of the car.

Like we reported earlier the new Octavia is based on the MQB platform used by the new Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf so it will share the engines with those cars. The public presentation will happen very soon, so stay tuned.

Skoda teases the new 2013 Skoda Octavia in Facebook

Seems like Skoda has started teasing the presentation of the new Octavia which will be fully revealed in Prague in just one week. Much of the car has been already seen, thanks to the many leaks that we saw in the last few days.

The car is built around VW's MQB platform and will use the engines already seen in the group. 1.2 and 1.4liter TSI and the 1.6 and 2.0liter TDI.
