Short News: Sales of the Renault Clio RS will start next month

Renault announced that the sales of the Clio R.S. will start on February 14 in Belgium but this date should be the same for the rest of Europe

The engine will be a 1.6liter turbo with 200hp and 240Nm. It will come with 17-inch wheels or the optional 18-inch, stronger and bigger 320mm disc brakes, a sports kit with sports suspension and the optional Cup chassis, an upgraded exhaust system, dual-clutch automatic transmission (EDC) with steering wheel paddles, and the interior comes with sports seats and steering wheel and aluminum pedals.

The Colours available are Glacier White, Platinum Grey, Deep Black, Flame Red and Yellow Sirius.

Short News: Skoda reveals the Octavia RS. It was all a mistake.

Skoda unintentionally revealed today the Octavia RS in the company's car configurator, which was immediately removed but some pictures still got out, and you can see them below.

From what we can see it has new bumpers, the front one reminds me of the ones used in the Ibiza and Leon, different wheels and a rear spoiler. The engine is expected to be a four cylinder, 2.0liter engine with over 200hp.

Thanks to this leak, i am sure Skoda will be forced to reveal the car soon, .

Renault Clio RS Cup for 2013

The new Clio was introduced to the public just a few weak ago but the french automaker is already putting the finishing touches on the racing version of the new Clio, called Clio RS Cup.

Renault has made over 3500km of track testing in several different racing tracks all over France and the new Clio RS Cup is, on average, over one second faster then its predecessor with the 2 liter atmospheric engine.

The new car has an 1.6 liter turbo engine with 220bhp and 370Nm, which is 20bhp and 30nm more then the road version, that was prepared by Oreca, joined by a sequential gearbox from APRacing, a front mechanical locking differential, new brakes from APRacing with 320mm in the front and four piston calipers, 17-inch Speedline Corse alloy wheels and ZF-Sachs adjustable suspension. Also it has the the normal safety features like a roll-cage, bucket seats and telemetry and data acquisition.
