Ferrari F150, Still doesn't have an official name, but will have 950hp!

In the last few days Ferrari has shown the Enzo replacement to some very special clients, and by special i mean full of money, and seems one of those clients revealed many of the cars technical details, including power, acceleration, top speed, presentation date and the price.

We already knew the supercar would have a V12 engine but we didn't the what power figures it would have, and now we know. The gasoline engine will develop 800hp and together with the 150hp from the KERS system, we have a cool 950hp. The engine redlines at 9.100rpm and has the maximum torque available from 1.000rpm, amazing. It will do 0 to 100km/h in 3 seconds, to 200km/h in 7 seconds and will have a top speed of 370km/h (230mph).

The low weight, 1270kg (2794lbs), is achieved through the use of carbon fiber in the construction of the chassis, protected with kevlar underneath the car. Only 499 will be built, and each one will cost around 1.2 million euros (1.63 million dollars). Official presentation will take place at the Geneva Motor Show next March, with deliveries starting in December 2013.

Short News: Ferrari Xezri concept made by Samir Sadikhov

Samir Sadikhov entered the Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 and won the second prize with his Xezri concept. But he was not satisfied and now created the competizione version of his concept.

Below you can first see the "normal" version of the concept followed by the competizione that includes several new aerodynamic components, including a larger front splitter, fender vents, a roof scoop, a new rear spoiler, larger side skirts, larger rear diffuser, and different wheels.

Short News: Ferrari California spied, will probably get a turbocharged engine

Autocar obtained photographs of the future generation of the Ferrari California and according to those who heard the car said it sounded like it had a turbocharged engine, possibly a version of the new V8 family which was premiered in the Maserati Quattroporte and had 3.8liters.

From the pictures we still can not get a good idea of the aspect of the California's future generation since this test mule has the bodywork of the current model and is only testing the mechanical part. But the raised bonnet indicates it needs more room in the engine bay possibly for a turbocharger.

Don't be afraid of the crazy exhaust, that is there to lower the sound coming from the engine because it is a test-car requirement in the Fiorano test circuit, in order to calm local residents.

Rumors point to a presentation in 2014, with sales to begin in the following year.

Ferrari 612 GTO Concept made by Sasha Selipanov

There are hundreds of independent designers that create their visions of what a sports car should look like, but most of them are pretty bad. Today i found this one, created by Sasha Selipanov and rendered by Samir Sadikhov, it represents a possible future generation of the 612 Scaglietti.

 

And yes, i know this study has over 2 years, but a good work deserves recognition and i am sure many won't have seen it or just don't remember having seen it. So tell us what do you think, because i think it looks amazing.

The Ferrari Enzo successor aka F70, codenamed F150 Maranello

Would you look at that, Ferrari even shares with us some teasers of the upcoming Ferrari Enzo replacement. But that is all we get to know for now, except it will debut in a few months.

 

The front reminds me a little bit of a Formula 1 car with large wheel arches, while the back follows the line started with the F12 Berlinetta. Flavio Manzoni even made a comparison with a F1 car, saying this will be the closest thing to a Formula 1 car that was ever built. There's even a possibility the V12 engine will be a lot like the Ferrari F1 motor.

Together with the V12, Ferrari will also use the HY-KERS, Kinetic Energy Recovery System or more simply regenerative braking, used in F1 but adapted for the "F70". The system stores energy in a battery that can be used when the driver wants to boost power via an electric motor. The system was introduced in the 599 HY-KERS.

The picture of the Ferrari F70 we saw two days ago has been retouched

 

A new picture recently appeared, after a lot of photoshop, showing what the Enzo replacement might look like, after an image appeared two days ago from a special event held in China. Ferrari has recently opted for more straight lines in their designs and some lines in this image we see are more curvy, so we are still a little bit suspicious.

 

We already known it will use a lot of carbon fiber and will have a V12 engine with over 700hp, helped by an electric motor, making it an hybrid supercars, so stay tuned for more information.

Is this the front of the new Ferrari F70 (Enzo II)?

A picture, probably from a reunion or a special event, showed up in a Facebook page called F70Ferrari with a vehicle that looks like the Ferrari Enzo replacement. The name isn't known yet but we will call it F70 for now.

 

No more details have been revealed but my guess is it won't take long untill the car is presented to the public, maybe when Ferrari's Facebook page hits 10 million fans.

The Ferrari Enzo replacement has its technical details revealed [Renders]

The picture above represents the view of deviantart user David Williams aka wizzoo7 to what the upcoming Ferrari Enzo, codenamed F150, should look like and i love it. But for now we only have the technical details to share.

It will have over 800bhp weighing only 1100kg, and Ferrari promises it will be the most similar vehicle with an F1 car in the road right now, also claiming that a it will use carbon fiber in a more sophisticated way for its construction.

The F150 is based around a compact central carbonfibre monocoque weighing just 70kg (20% lighter than an Enzo’s). It is powered by a V12 engine helped by a small electric motor and lithium ion battery packs.

The 6,3liter V12 comes from the F12 and produces 731bhp and in the F150 will surely produced more, something closer to 750, and the electric motor helps to power the F150 with 100bhp more and 271Nm (200lbs/ft). Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa said that the Hy-KERS hybrid system will give the F150 a “performance boost, knocking 10 per cent off the car’s 0-125mph sprint time”, helping lower the F150’s CO2 emissions by 40% if it only used the internal combustion engine.

The seat will be fixed and molded for the driver like a F1 car but the pedal box and steering wheel are adjustable with most of the controls mounted on the steering wheel. Price will be close to a million whatever currency you have.
